The Port is steadfast in its determination to be the premier cruise capital of the world. It welcomed more than three million passengers last year and expects 3.4 million in 2010. That is roughly five times the population of Alaska.
It homeports more cruise ships than any other port.
The selection of cruises is staggering; 16 cruise lines will sail 49 different ships on approxiamtely 2000 sailings from the Port this year. No other port in the world offers such variety by cruise line, vacation length, price-point and itinerary. This level of choice is a traveler's dream - there are cruises to suit virtually every budget, schedule or desire.
The Port has made a substantial investment in the cruise sector and offers eleven full-time terminals and one part-time terminal.
